about:
From the

Erica Connolly

It seems we’re being called on at this
time to be ‘authentic’, to be our ‘true
selves’, to get clear about who we are and what we’re
about. I know this came up for Colourworks as a whole recently,
and it seems to be a theme for many Colourworks teachers and
practitioners I’m speaking with. And along with that
come some questions. What is our role as teachers, as healers,
as therapists? What are our strengths and our skills and how
can we best use those? What are the aspects of our work that
fill us with joy? And what are those that challenge us? Who
are our clients and students and how can we best serve them?
What sort of assistance can we best give them while empowering
them to find their own answers?
Colourworks holds up a mirror to our deepest
subconscious, and whether we look in that mirror is, of course,
up to us. But if we’re to work with this system authentically
then we are continually asked to be brave enough to do just
that. And often times once we’ve recognised the face
we see there and said hello to it, welcomed it – even
if it appears to be pretty ugly on the surface – it
begins to show us its beauty. We see how it has been serving
us. We see how it is offering us an opportunity to heal old
wounds and grow and learn. We see how it shows us where we
do not want to go any more and opens the door to a new pathway.
And as we do this we learn how, and then we
can teach others. We need to have walked the path ourselves
before we can guide another along it. So part of living authentic
lives, and part of being an authentic teacher or therapist,
is to be with our ‘stuff’ as it comes along. It
needn’t be all hard work. It can even become quite funny
at times, recognising the old faces leering at us in the mirror
(if we don’t take ourselves or them too seriously).
We can then smile at them and say ‘oh hello old friend,
what are you doing back here? Something more to offer me?
OK then, bring it on’. We invariably find then that
it’s much simpler and quicker to look unflinchingly
and accept what is, and to allow and accept rather than resist
and fight. Then it gives way with rather more grace and we
are able to move ahead lighter than before.
Enjoy this issue and as always we welcome
your feedback and comments.
With love and blessings

The True
Purpose of Colourworks
Melissie Jolly

In a four-way conversation with the teacher
trainers in England (Moira, Erica and Amanda) the question
arose as to what are we really about in the world. I went
to my Mayan Oracle and drew a card. The question was "What
is the role of Colourworks in the world?"
I was rather shocked to draw the card Cauac
(pronounced Ka wak). It spoke about an "initiation by
fire" and described so exactly how everyone was feeling
that I thought it would be helpful to share some of its information
in the newsletter.
The qualities of Cauac are:
Purification
Transformation
Reunion
Activation for ascension
Initiation by fire
Ecstasy of freedom
Take a moment to just feel those words and
you will see how important what we are doing is. We are not
practising baby spirituality. This is the real thing and it
is about transformation. And what is being transformed are
all our old patterns. And it’s not just the stuff we
picked up as children in this lifetime, it’s from every
lifetime that led up to this one. Right now everything is
accelerating at such a level that it is not surprising that
things are not always easy and flowing. Every bit of a block
in our psyches is now coming to the fore so that it can be
dealt with before we go through the gate.
Our bodies are literally being changed so that they can hold
more light so that we will not be fried by the higher frequencies.
And because it does not feel like anything we are accustomed
to, we then go "I feel strange" and the body creates
the event so that it can explain the strangeness. So you might
have a sudden crisis - health, emotional or financial - so
that your body can feel safe with what it is experiencing.
"I feel terrible because I had a fight with my partner"
feels much safer to your body, than "I feel terrible
because my vibration is changing." An argument is an
argument, but to the body a vibration changing could be death…
As our bodies are being prepared for this new energy we are
going through what feels like body shock after body shock.
You might suddenly have huge amounts of excess energy or be
bone tired for no reason. You might have unexplained aches
and pains and strange electrical tingles in your head as your
light-sensitive pineal and pituitary glands are being activated.
Try not to label them as pain and try not to resist.
According to the Mayan Calendar we are coming
to the end of a twenty-six -thousand-year cycle. And this
ends in 2012, in just 5 years time, and we chose to be here
now.... We have chosen to participate in a miracle - the ascension
of the planet - in our lifetime.
So how does Colourworks fit into any of this?
What we have is an amazing implement that
lifts the vibration without scaring the body. It is a tangible
thing that can be felt, smelt and experienced and it supports
the lifting of the vibration to the next level. It allows
the body to feel safe while the frequencies are shifting.
It is a physical tool to activate the light body. And it does
it as gently as you will allow. If your belief is that life
is hard, you will still experience the tough side, but you
are now so evolved that you can choose to feel pain or experience
pressure. You are labelling your experiences and then getting
to feel the label.
Colour is an integral part of this journey. Allow your knowing
of colour to move you forward and support you on your journey
to your authentic self. Trust and develop this ancient sacred
language. It is encoded in your cells and if you allow it,
it will give you a sense of union, transcendence and expanded
perception. Into your hand you were given a gift that is here
to help you activate your Divine Self. The water fraction
washes away the old patterns and the oil smoothes the journey
forward.
Metatronic
Healing
Pippa Merivale

It’s young, it’s ancient, it’s
radical, it’s powerful. It really does seem to be changing
lives at a depth that most of us hadn’t believed possible.
This new healing gift from Metatron removes ancient traumas,
destructive emotions, limiting beliefs, from deep inside the
cellular memory – which means from right inside the
body. It digs issues out by the roots: if that sounds rough,
it’s not. The Metatronic ‘team’, a group
of seven energies – opalescent, iridescent, pastel,
fabulously supported by the new Colourworks Metatron set –
does the whole thing with amazing gentleness and grace. The
feedback is unanimous: Metatron has given us a method of release
that goes deeper than anything we’ve previously experienced;
and the evidence so far is that clearance is permanent.
Level One of the practitioner training is
for deep cellular release; Level Two is to nourish and fill
the spaces that have been cleared, restoring the blueprint,
pumping up the vital force. More details and a new diary of
Metatron-related events will soon be available on: www.Color4Power.com.
There are numerous practitioners now in the UK. For a listing

Metatronic Practitioner Training
Erica Connolly
Having just experienced two weekend workshops
to complete Level One of the practitioner training I can tell
you Metatronic Healing is something else. It does what it
says on the packet. It’s a way of working with people
that seems to complete something we didn’t even know
we were missing. And I love how seamlessly it interweaves
with Colourworks, which is, after all, my true passion. The
depth of clearing experienced by those on the course and the
beauty and power of the ‘transmissions’ from the
energies was profound. For myself and for the clients I’ve
worked with I’ve found it to be swift, deep and most
of all freeing. Mostly what gets cleared out of our bodies
during this process is ancient and the after-effects of letting
go of something that’s been part of our beings for eons
can be quite something. But with the use of the wonderful
new Metatronic colour essences the body can be released from
any shock that may occur and the process itself ensures we
are held and supported through the release.
Metatron: Divine Blueprint
Melissie Jolly

In working with the Metatron essence you are
aligning with your soul star which is the Magenta energy centre
above your head. That is the bit that holds your spiritual
blueprint. In your spiritual blueprint is the perfection your
soul set up for this lifetime's journey. The moment you align
with the frequency of Metatron, you are linked up to the basic
frequency that restores the pattern of perfection in your
life.
In a meditation we do with the Wood essence to connect with
your body elemental, we basically do the same thing. We
align with the pattern of perfection that is held in the
blueprint of the physical. As the Wood essence is olive
green which is the complementary colour of the Magenta we
are then back to the body's inability to recognise the difference
between the two. So Wood or Metatron will both activate
the frequency of perfection. There is more and more information
that is proving that our physical and spiritual bodies are
different frequencies of the same thing just as the magenta
and the olive are different frequencies of the same thing.
Midsummer
Madness
Amanda Bradbury, Astrologer

The recent flooding in Yorkshire and Cornwall
in the UK may seem extraordinary given that it happened in
the middle of June, but there is an astrological explanation!
Not only did this happen shortly after the summer solstice,
but also June 25th marked the third and final clash between
Neptune God of the sea, and Saturn, representing earthbound
matter. Literally this is about washing away defences and
releasing what is restricting us or holding us back. This
combination can also be interpreted as the marriage of spirit
and matter or bringing heaven to earth.
Some of you may have received the e-mail from
Patricia Cota-Robles and Shelley Yates describing July 17th
as a day of cosmic opportunity. Astrologically this is because
it represents the second time that Pluto, planet of evolution,
passes over a point called the galactic centre. Though recently
demoted from being a planet, Pluto is no less powerful and
this represents a time of profound cosmic significance. The
long journey of Pluto through Sagittarius has brought up issues
to do with truth, power, religion, spirituality and education
in a particularly intense and transformational way. This is
a pivotal time in terms of getting to the heart of issues
that affect us all on a global and universal level and we
are invited to place our focus on peace, oneness and healing.
Shelley requests that people meditate for
one hour on July 17th at 11.11 am GMT (4.11 am PDT, 7.11 am
EDT) and I recommend reading her amazing story on www.firethegrid.org.
She talks of humanity as being finally in a position to connect
ourselves back to the collective grid that will unite the
Divinity within every man, woman and child and reconnect humanity
directly with our Source, All That Is.
“This plan involves only one
hour from each of us. Our combined energies will work to direct
energy to the Earth and to each other. I ask you to choose
the way in which you deliver your intention. For those of
you that pray, then pray for the hour asking for the faith
and power to accomplish this tremendous task. Those of you
who meditate, meditate and see the intention of your thoughts
swirling deep inside our Earth, delivering the love and healing.
Those of you who have no ritual of
faith may simply develop one that works for you. You may sit
quietly and repeat a phrase of your intention, such as `I
offer you my energy to heal this world and its people.’
Any positive words of hope, love and desire for change will
manifest these thoughts as reality – our new reality.
If possible gather with others during
this hour. I have found that the intensity of meditation heightens
when I am sharing the experience with other people.”
If I had to suggest Colourworks bottles to
use during this time it would be 36, the Gateway bottle, that
is so much about our process during 2007; 6 Venus that represents
the love that lies at the centre of everything; and C12 the
new heart chakra bottle that combines the lilac of 36 and
the pink of 6 and brings us into oneness and an acceptance
of all that is.
Pluto makes its third and final connection
to the galactic centre on the 27th October. This is a time
of completion for this cycle, although the effects will ripple
out for months, years, maybe eons beyond this.
Coral: The
Colour of True Love
Elizabeth Morgan

"You, yourself, as much as anybody in
the entire universe, deserve your love and affection."
— Buddha
I teach classes on a wide variety of subjects
and regardless of the topic, I usually begin by having students
select and use a Colourworks spray. I then explain the bottle’s
meaning so they understand their choice.
As Amanda pointed out above, astrologically
a lot of things have been stirring people up to prod change,
so I’ve been a little surprised to find my students
overwhelmingly reaching for the coral sprays. Usually in periods
of transformation people reach for pink (comfort) or green
(anxiety relief and space), but this season, coral makes perfect
sense.
With the Saturn-Neptune opposition forcing
people to look beneath their illusions and ask what is real
in their life, coral is beneficial for easing the grip on
how we distract ourselves by eating too much, drinking, shopping,
watching too much TV, complaining, etc. Coral brings the support,
comfort and wholeness that says you don’t need something
outside yourself to feel good.
The key to coral’s popularity this
season lies within the message of Juno, the coral Unicorn.
The colour coral heals unrequited love, but the worst heartbreak
is usually self-inflicted. We judge, criticise, belittle and
under-value ourselves worse than anyone else ever could. Juno
reminds us that if God is perfect then we must be perfect
exactly as we are for we are God’s creations. Even our
so-called flaws are perfect because they teach us resilience,
compassion, etc.
“Not good enough” is one of the
core wounds hiding in the subconscious of most people, but
it is as much of a lie as “the earth is flat.”
Coral in all its forms can help heal the primal wound of abandonment
and separation that comes with taking on these earthly bodies.
Its gentle wisdom can wash away our attachment to seeing ourselves
as unworthy and damaged. Too often we seek validation through
the approval of others. Allow coral to help you love and approve
of yourself, and you will naturally begin to connect with
others who will appreciate your magnificence.
Summer is the season to have fun, so embracing
the playfulness of the Coral Angel can help you lighten up
and enjoy life, in addition to coral’s other benefits.
Juno will help you release judgement and heal on a soul level.
As Marianne Williamson writes, “As we let our own light
shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do
the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence
automatically liberates others.”
Revel in the lusciousness of coral and fall
in love with yourself!
Colourworks
in Slovenia
Moira Bush

Barbara Piškur runs a shop called Star
Elysium in the heart of the old town in Slovenia’s capital
city of Ljubljana. In May Barbara invited Colourworks to present
the Colour 1 & 2 courses and to establish a centre for
bottle distribution for Slovenia and Croatia.
There were 8 students, a mixture of scientists,
doctors, chemists, professors and alternative practitioners.
Metka our interpreter was also the translator of the Colour
Works book into Slovenian language – an experience she
said led to huge processing as she recognised aspects of her
life in the language of colour.

On our first day bottle 5’s top fraction
(green) turned pale blue/turquoise. So I set aside this bottle,
placing a new bottle 5 in the row of teaching bottles. On
the last day of training this bottle also turned its top fraction
into pale blue/turquoise. So we ended up with two bottles
that looked like bottle 35, the Korean bottle. Participants
had bottles 32 and 35 in common during their readings. When
Tadeja explained the history of Slovenia I realised it was
just like the story of South Korea. The conscious green (top
fraction) became pale blue/turquoise which is the healing
and bringing in of the peace, trust and ending the cycles
of sibling rivalry and persecution. On my day off, Leja and
her husband Thomas drove Barbara and I to a town called Bled.
It has a huge green lake, forests and a castle.. There we
all realised that the colours being reflected to us were bottle
35. So Barbara and Leja decided to bath in the converted bottles
5 that night.
Before I left the UK I selected a card from
Doreen Virtue’s Ascended Masters pack for Slovenia and
‘White Buffalo Calf Woman’, the Peace Offering
card came up. This card is about world peace and bringing
heaven and earth together. All was confirmed when on my arrival
Barbara said she had a special candle to burn called White
Buffalo Woman and when Leja arrived she spoke about an event
she had organised for a world peace meditation on the 20th
of May and how she felt it was driven by White Buffalo Woman!
I joined some of the students on the 20th during our lunch
break to attend this meditation in Tivoli Park. So bottle
5/35 and White Buffalo Woman clearly indicated a new era of
peace.
During my visit I was introduced to
Branka, a scientist running the Bion Institute in Slovenia.
Branka is going to create water crystals of pink and yellow
from the Colourworks system some time in the future. We do
not know whether this will work or what colour water crystals
will look like, but as soon as we have the pictures we will
let everyone know. Branka’s institute has created man-made
synthetic materials that hold information like water. For
example to stop smoking there is a device called a ‘Tul’
that you breathe air instead of smoke through and a ‘Peace
Stone’ that when you touch it helps to calm you. Visit

Blue and
Green Bottles for a Blue and Green Planet
Melissie Jolly
All around the planet, it seems, green Colourworks
bottles are turning blue. Anna, my helper, when I told her
this, said "Maybe they are talking to one another around
the world." Interesting that the green of the heart is
turning blue, the colour of communication. The throat is opening
like a chalice so that the energy coming in can reach the
heart. The light is poured in through a funnel shape into
the heart and then moves outward from the heart through the
throat. Communication then comes from such a heartfelt space
that it creates loving manifestation.
There is a quality of sound here as what was hidden in the
heart has the opportunity to be brought out in the open
through the throat and sound creates a resonance. If you
sound a tuning fork all the others of the same resonance
will begin to vibrate - Anna was right, they are talking
to each other. And what they are doing is working towards
peace in our green space. The essence of information is
not its content but its resonance. And we can only take
it in if we are in the same resonance. Truth rings. And
your body gets it if the resonance is in tune. So for the
green to turn blue it has to remove the yellow - so less
confusion and fear - less "My will" and more "Thy
will". And as it is the top fractions changing –
the conscious fractions – therefore we can hold more
peace in our consciousness. So everything is moving towards
a resonant field of peace as our bottles keep chatting to
one another around the planet.
As we are moving closer to 2012 we are going to see more
and more strange things. We are moving to a time that was
predicted 26 000 years ago and we are almost there. What
I think is going to happen is that it might be like 1987,
which was when the Harmonic Convergence happened. Many people
knew about it and expected all sorts of weird and wonderful
things to happen. It seemed as if that day came and went
and nothing changed. But looking back, many of the first
channelled books were published in 1988. So much information
came pouring in from that time onwards that it is obvious
that a huge gateway opened and everything changed. We are
now moving towards something much, much bigger and we are
in the most fortunate position that we have front row seats.
In our connection to the colours we are able to see what
is happening very visibly. So notice what your bottles are
doing. The green turning blue is just the beginning.
I have so often asked myself "What am I doing here?"
and now there is a little bubble in my solar plexus that
feels as if it is saying, "Just wait and see what you
have been part of. Just watch what you have had the grace
to come and experience". This is a time of signs and
symbols for those that can interpret them and colour is
a huge - in fact the most visible - of the signs, and we
are part of that. What a gift and what a joy to be part
of this community of souls that came to be the interpreters
of the rest of the journey.
Movement
and Stillness: Colour and Chi Kung
Clara Apollo and Erica Connolly
The connections between colour and Chi
Kung may not be immediately obvious but having run three separate
workshop days combining these two ancient systems we have
been amazed at how beautifully they have blended. Both are
forms of energy work which impact our senses, our bodies,
our emotions and our spirits. Both bring awareness at deeper
levels which can be sometimes subtle and sometimes decidedly
powerful. Both encourage flow. And the interplay between them
brings something quite unique: movement and stillness working
together from within and without.
Chi Kung (pronounced chee gung) has its roots in ancient China.
As part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the emphasis is on
natural body movements to de-stress the body and bring you
and your body into natural alignment. This allows you to connect
with your centre of true energy and gives the opportunity
for the Chi/Qi to flow.
Chi Kung is a whole system which can
be used and learned to underpin anything you want to do in
life. Chi/Qi is universal healing energy, not the sort you
strive for, rather the kind that is just there if you give
yourself the time and space to allow it. Chi flow is impeded
in a tense body, so the movements, such as shaking and circling
the joints, begin to open up a new space to bring you into
the here and now. And this is where we bring in the colour…
Chi Kung prepares the mind/body/spirit
for colour energies to flow. We move, we release, and then
we are still; standing or sitting to gather and notice the
subtler movements that are occurring within us. The combination
of colour meditations and active energy movement balances
the physical with the spiritual.
Colour is like a key or trigger to
the mind/body/spirit. It opens areas which may not have felt
safe before, it helps with deeper blockages which when unblocked
can transform. And it then allows in refreshing Chi to heal
and energise, bringing us into a truer relationship with ourselves.
Each of the workshops has a theme, inspired by the season
we are in and its corresponding element. So in spring we worked
with the Wood element and the colour green, and hence the
Wood bottle and other green coloured bottles. The latest workshop
centred around summer, fire and the colours red/orange/gold.
The workshop room is set up to reflect the appropriate colours
for the element and the season.

(Fire Element Workshop set-up)
What happens as we combine these beautiful and powerful systems
is that we begin to remember. We have memories of how colour
makes us feel, and how certain movements seem just right,
as if some long ago ancient knowledge within has been given
the light of day. Participants on the workshops often have
deep revelations about themselves, and as the day unfolds
this new/old knowledge can begin to become integrated into
their realities. Integrating the work into the body lets it
resonate on a cellular level, something we really got when
working with the Wood element, doing twisting movements, using
the Wood essence and running the Wood meditation. In one exercise
we did some self healing by beaming energy into the liver
with our hands. We then sprayed the Wood essence into our
palms and noticed how this changed and amplified the healing
experience.
Colour heightens our awareness, gives
us insights and information. Chi Kung encourages the flow
to where it is needed and carries the colour deeper and faster
than might otherwise be the case. And quite apart from anything
else, connecting with outrageously gorgeous colours while
moving our bodies in ways that are natural and harmonious
is simply a lovely way to spend a day!
The next workshop on 1 September will focus on the Earth element.

What God
Wants, Neale Donald Walsh
Book Review by Moira Bush

In this thought-provoking read, Neale uses
his trademark style so that anyone who loved the “Conversations
with God” books will enjoy this one too. He uses humour
and brings in the unexpected, and always the message is simple
to read and understand. I have lately been asking God in my
conversations: “So what do I do next? What is expected
of me?” So of course this book came into my life at
the right time. What if what we think God wants and what is
truth are two different things? Neale explores the origins
of our concept of God and challenges them, every single one
of them, even the one about Thy Will versus My Will. Some
might find the beginning of the book a little boring as it
revisits the many reasons most of us left our religious indoctrination
behind and moved into a new spiritual awareness, but persevere,
it is simply setting the stage for the second half of the
book which is very clever. Neale will have you seriously thinking
about your ideas of who God is and your purpose in life. Highly
recommended and especially good to read while bathing in bottle
11, the bottle most accurately reflecting God’s colours
in the Colourworks system.
